Personal Assistant &
Administrative Position Available

salary: R12 000

The Nanny Movement Recruit has a full-day vacancy available from 1 August. This is a work-from-home position, except when one of the directors requires the employee to be present in the office.

This new full-day Admin & PA role has been created due to significant business growth over the past year. The primary objective of this role is to provide general administrative support and personal assistance, with some marketing-related duties. The candidate will report directly to the two directors and support our team of recruiters. Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in this field.

This role requires substantial interaction with people, patience, planning skills, energy, and a willingness to go the extra mile. You’ll excel in this role if you’re a self-starter, detail-oriented, confident in customer interactions, and enjoy staying busy and productive.

About The Nanny Movement Recruit:

Founded in November 2022 by two passionate businesswomen, The Nanny Movement Recruit specializes in placing domestic/kitchen staff and school staff. We use innovative software to streamline our processes for both candidates and employers. Our system includes a database of available candidates, allowing us to efficiently match employers with employees. We have recruiters throughout South Africa who assist in various regions.

Responsibilities (Not Limited To):

  • Must reside in Pretoria.
  • Must have own computer and strong internet connection (Printer and scanner would be beneficial)
  • Working hours:
    • Monday-Thursday: 8:00-15:30 or 7:00-14:30
    • Friday: 8:00-13:00
  • Primarily work from home but must be available to assist in person at the directors’ home-bound offices when needed, with advance notice.
  • Occasionally attend client interviews (infrequent).
  • Create profiles of candidates.
  • Submit criminal checks.
  • Stand in for directors when they are on leave.
  • Arrange CPR workshops.
  • Assist with marketing for new vacancies (Note: We have a graphic designer and social media manager for professional marketing on our official pages).
  • Follow up with employers after placements.
  • Refer employers to the UIF consultant.
  • Verify ZEP permits.

Experience and Skills:

  • Matric certificate.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (beneficial but not required).
  • Relevant certificates (beneficial but not required).
  • Recruitment experience (beneficial).
  • Experience in admin and personal assistant roles.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
